Welcome to Fashions for Special Needs.
To look good is to feel good, and people need to feel good about themselves. As a designer and manufacturer of adaptive clothing, our mission is to make dressing easier by creating apparel that is both fashionable and functional.
Our products are made from the highest quality fabrics. Colour and durability are our number one concern. These fabrics must be able to endure the industrial washers and dryers in the long-term-care facilities.
Although velcro is an option on some of our apparel, we would suggest ordering snaps, unless the clothing is being cleaned in a domestic washer and dryer. Velcro may harden and curl in the industrial washers and dryers. Our snaps, which are on twill tape, are sewn onto our products. If the snaps come off, they are easily replaced. Snaps that are placed directly into the fabric may be pulled out, leaving a hole that cannot be easily repaired.
